US Bond Value is a private publication. It is not run, endorsed or paid for by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, TreasuryDirect, the Internal Revenue Service, a state government, a bank, a broker or a financial adviser.
General information, not advice
The pages describe federal and state rules and the calculators apply them to the figures you type. Nothing here is personal financial, tax, legal or investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, keep or cash a bond or a bill. The amount the Treasury or your bank pays for a bond is the one that counts; a tax professional can confirm what applies to your return.
Liability
Rules and rates are read on official texts and the calculators are tested before each release, but rules change and errors cannot be excluded. The publisher is not liable for a decision taken on the basis of the site alone. Errors can be reported through the contact page.
Intellectual property
Texts, design and code belong to the publisher; short quotations with a link are welcome. Federal government texts quoted here are in the public domain.
Embedding
The savings bond calculator may be embedded for free with its credit line visible: see the embed page.
Personal data and cookies
What you type in the calculators stays in your browser. The site sets Google Analytics audience measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_EM9RN840W5, 13 months at most), with no advertising; page stability is monitored with Microsoft Clarity, cookie-free. Details, legal basis and how to object: privacy policy and cookies page.
Reporting unlawful content
Write to contact@usbondvalue.com with the page address.
Governing law
French law applies; failing an amicable settlement, the courts of France have jurisdiction. Updated: 2026-10-19.
Values follow the Treasury’s published valuation rules and announced rates; the amount TreasuryDirect or your bank pays is the one that counts. Tax figures use 2026 federal brackets and the state schedules we read, not your full return. This is general information, not personal financial or tax advice. We sell no bond, account or advice.
